It's been so long since my last post, a lot of things has happened to me,
from loosing internet connection at home,not getting my contract extended at my previous office,being unemployed, take a risk to an interview in Singapore, and now currently working in Singapore. Anyway this is not what i have expected or planned before, i never think that i would be working in Singapore even though during my holiday on last Christmas i was once dreaming to work here :p However my plan was to accomplished 2 years working at my previous office in Jakarta and then look for some master degree, the plan was totally failed, my contract wasn't extended and i become unemployed again.
During my unemployed my life was pretty devastating, i woke up everyday at 12 pm, no mood to work out at gym or even helping my mother at home, i have no motivation, i was hopeless. The reason why i was so hopeless was on my last day at work i got a second call from an insurance company, i was convinced that i was accepted but after that they didn't call me for more than 2 weeks, so i have 2 disappointments: my contract wasn't extended and being rejected by the company i have applied.
Until i got a call from a company in here which i had applied through http://www.jobsdb.com, only they want me to come to Singapore for an interview which was a big dilemma but then i decided to take the risk and thanks to god the interview process went smooth and now I'm happily working here :D
Sometimes in life, we make plans about our future but it suddenly ruined and we get devastated, but then it could be better than we have expected as long as we keep trying, even the founder of Apple Steve jobs have it here is his story
I'm now feel very blessed, my company is very nice and i meet many nice people here, the only thing I still regret is my obey to help my mom at home when i was unemployed, I'm planning to buy her something maybe from mark&spencer or other good stuffs.
I believe that God really works in mysterious way, now matter how sad or tough we went through there will always be something good beneath it, and when your plan(or your life)is totally messed up we will always reverse back a while and start from the scratch.
Anyway, moral of this story is: Don't be afraid of a change and taking a risk, comfort zone might trapped you someday.

christmas holiday getaway

It's been a long time since my last post, i was stuck on a bad project then i took a long off to spend a holiday getaway in singapore & malaysia.
I spent christmas eve in singapore before going to malaysia, it was wonderfull seeing christmas euforia everywhere, lamps and decorations in orchard, christmas song played in a taxi, there was also a carnaval and christmas concert in orchard, unfortunately me and my mother were not able to go to the church, we were so exhausted after spent entire day walking and even get lost in the city, however it was an unforgetable christmas, could not wait to spend next year christmas there :)
Well that's all for now, enjoy some pics and videos, and next post will be my trip in malaysia.

Developing on Mac?

I just bought macbook intel core 2 duo recently and planning to do some Java development there.
Why would i wasting my time to develop java in mac? well first of all, many vacancies in top company require some java experience with UNIX or Linux, however the main reason is because i'm bored wasting my holiday at home :p
The plan turn out to be harder than i thought, i just set java environment and have installed tomcat 5 also, although my lack knowledge of UNIX is really stumble me on this, especially when i tried to do something which easier done in windows like create or renaming a file, it's really frustating.
The next step which is Oracle 10g installation seems will be a tough one, since it require editing in kernel as far as i've searched in google.
I will continue to blog on this if my plan suceeded, now i'm just to sleepy

I took a test on tickle.com about finding which character of grey's anatomy suited me
and then the result came out that i'm MC'DREAMY! hehehe
Anyway I wasn't expecting that, i thought i would be meredith grey sort of dark and twisty not succesfull, charming, and oh-so-attractive :p
However I shouldn't take the test seriously cuz the result will probably be different if i take it once more ;)

New look, New project

I have just renewed my blogger layout to be more simple and fresher than previous one :)
Previous one was too crowded, i put google maps, google videos, and long google adsense block at right side of the blog.
Since google video has become element of blogger so i move the video to downside which was quite hard to do when it was not blogger element.
I delete google maps because it takes so long to load and i reduce the size of my google adsense
and voila...as you can see my blog looks nice ;)
Anyway i recently being moved to other project which making rich application for financial firm.
In this new project, i have to learn new j2ee frameworks and use new programming tool called weblogic. Using weblogic is wasting my time and emotion because it is slower than previous tool i used which was websphere.
However, I'm quite thrilled that i could learn financial business process and technologies like spring frameworks and dojo.

I'm watching American Idol 6

I have some favorites tv show to favour my idle moments they are, American Idol 6, Grey's Anatomy, 4 mata, and Oprah winfrey show.
However American Idol 6 is the most awaited show that I even let my Saturday night out time being minimized :p
One reason why i'm addicted to this show is the Host Ryan Seacrest which is very entertaining. Last show was incredible, I love martina mcbride she has a beautiful voice and her song always inspiring just like her peformance during the show.

It's been a long time i'm not posting any blog here, and here i am
blogging again.
Few things have changed since my latest blog, i have resigned and move to other company
I got the job at the 2nd day after new year, it's like a new year's present for me :p since i was in a very uncomfortable situation at my previous place and then i got a call from a multinational company, pass the test, and got the job :-)
However, every new things required transitions such as I have to get up much more earlier than i used to and have to experience traffic jam since my office located in the center of the city which off course also the center of traffic jam!
I'm already getting along with the transition, and it suprisingly feels good, it's nice to wake up early cuz it gives you thrill to start a new day.
It's great to be punctual :p

six months

It's been six months since I worked in my office, six months always been the point in my career where I start thinking about resign. Last year, I decided to resign on the sixth's month work period at my previous office, and now the symtomps has rised again..............
Is six my bad luck number? or is it because six six six is Devil sign? i have no idea.......
Bad things always happen at my work at my 6th months, last year i have trouble with my PM and just like de javu it happen again this year at my 6th months, and the question rises in my mind, will i decide to quit my job?
If i quit my job, i probably would experience same thing after i resigned last year, being unemploynment, bored, and desperate.
I spent 3 months being desperate job seeker after i quit my previous job, and i don't want to experience that profession again :-p
Now, when i'm trying to survive from my six months torture @ office, problems just come against me, testing my patience.
I hope six is not a bad luck number for my career, and now i'm trying to hold on tight on my patience, HOLD ON......
